Mini Quilt Silent Auction

Every even year the River Heritage Quilt Guild has a Quilt Show. As part of that show, we have a silent auction of small quilts. 100% of the money goes to support breast cancer research and education.
  • Who makes quilts: You do, the members of the guild or anyone who wants to participate.
  • When needed:The next show will be in the fall of 2008. But you can bring your mini quilt to guild at any time. Linda Tansil has a box dedicated to the mini quilt show. She won't be at guild in the spring because of teaching a night class, but give them to Joan Meyer and she'll get them to Linda.
  • Size Rule: If you think it's a mini, it is. We are not picky. Some are tiny six inch squares, some are around 30 by 30 inches.
  • Need ideas: Have you ever started a class and stopped with one block -- a lot of lovely minis were based on such orphans.

Try out a new technique without being committed to finding house room for it

Use a color you've never used before -- see what you come up with

  • What if I cannot make one? Come to the next show and bid!! If you have questions, contact Linda Tansil email the webmaster.
